Privacy policy

FinalSet (finalset.fit) is an independent training app for HYROX and hybrid athletes. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to finalset.support@gmail.com.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address and, if you set one, a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We ask for nothing else from your Google account.

Your profile. What you enter during setup and in settings: display name, age, bodyweight, height, race division, goal race and time, preferred units and how you heard about FinalSet.

Your training. Programs, planned and completed sessions, sets, loads, distances and times, station logs, races and their splits, benchmark times, running volume, and pre-session check-ins (energy, soreness, sleep, stress and any note you add).

The AI coach. Your messages to the coach, its replies, the answers you give when building a program, and a count of coach requests so we can apply usage limits.

Race results you import. When you search for a race, we look up the name you enter on the public HYROX results site and save the splits you choose to import.

Usage and performance. Anonymous page-view and page-speed measurements through Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. They set no cookies and don’t identify you.

On your device. Your browser keeps your sign-in session, your light or dark theme, and what-if edits in the race predictor. These stay on your device.

How we use it

• To run the app: show your plan, log sessions, calculate records and race predictions.
• To give coach answers and build programs that fit you. Each coach request sends your question, recent messages in that conversation and a summary of your profile and training to the AI model.
• To enforce fair-use limits on the coach and keep the service secure.

We don’t sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone for marketing. We don’t train AI models on it.

Who processes it

We use a small number of providers, each only for the job below:

• Supabase — database and sign-in. Everything in your account is stored here.
• Vercel — hosts the app and provides the anonymous analytics above.
• Anthropic — the Claude model behind the coach. It receives what’s described under “How we use it” for each coach request. Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through its API.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”, to confirm who you are.

These providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards.

Google user data

FinalSet requests only your basic Google profile (name, email address and profile picture) and uses it only to create your account and sign you in. We don’t use it for advertising, sell it, or transfer it to anyone except as needed to run the app. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security

Data travels over HTTPS. In the database, every row is tied to your account and access rules mean only you can read or change your own training data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. You can edit or delete individual sessions, races and coach conversations in the app at any time. To delete your whole account, use “Delete account” in Settings: the account and everything linked to it is deleted immediately. If you can’t sign in, email finalset.support@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email finalset.support@gmail.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

FinalSet is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top. We’ll tell you in the app before any change to how your existing data is used. See also our terms of use.
